Silver, You Will Be Missed

What a long, happy, and fruitful life you had. The gentle giant, who fathered 25 giraffe calves, has left quite a legacy. He could not go unnoticed, standing far and above all the rest of the herd at the San Diego Zoo. He’s been loved by so many during his 23 years of life. He will long be remembered. My sympathies to the keepers who gave him the most wonderful care and loved him so much. Peaceful travels to your Heavenly Home, dear Silver.
