The newest capybaras at the San Diego Zoo, born on September 2nd, are all doing great, and seem to enjoy each other's company. Five born at once is more than the average of 3 or 4, but it's not unheard of to have as many as 7 in a litter. Thankfully for mom, all the females in a group help to care for, and even nurse each other's babies. It takes a village!
