Black Panther Profile

Mystique is gorgeous from any angle and by any name! Her true species name is Amur leopard, but she also fits the nickname, 'black panther’, often given to leopards and jaguars that are black due to the genetic variation known as melanistic. The word ‘panther’ comes from ‘panthera’, the genus part of the unique scientific classification associated with each of the big cats.
