Penny's Neverending Tail

Penny's Neverending Tail

That beautiful thick tail of hers is about the same length as her body and is practical as well as pretty. Snow leopards use their tails for balance as they negotiate difficult terrain. While resting, they can wrap their tail around them like a scarf for extra warmth. One of the reasons it’s so thick is that it provides fat storage to get them through the lean times.
