A Very Special Bond

Gladys, the 6 month old gerenuk seems to have put her trust in her keeper, Isaac. I had the privilege of seeing her show him some affection, when she reached up and gently balanced on his chest, able to see eye to eye. I appreciate all the work each of the keepers do every day to give the animals at the San Diego Zoo the very best care…and I think the animals appreciate it, too!
