I can only imagine what a thrill it was for the jaguar cub to experience the great outdoors for the first time last week! I know I sure felt excited, like I was seeing all the newness through his eyes! He took to the exploration bravely, and seemed to feel confident. Mom showed him around, and intervened when necessary. There will be lots of adventures ahead now that his world has gotten much bigger! He also has officially been named Valerio, which means healthy and strong…yes, he is! And he’s getting stronger every day!
