Valerio, Master of All He Surveys

Handsome and confident, Valerio continues to impress me! He seems much more secure and relaxed now, during those times he’s separated from his mom. No more crying and searching for her; he’s a big boy now, happy to stand on his own. The keepers are doing a wonderful job preparing him for his independence. But he still seems to be happiest when he’s reunited with Nindiri, and she’s still being an affectionate mother. Good times!
