In Awe of a Tiger

I don’t think I’ll ever get over the need to catch my breath when I spot a tiger. I have to smile and take in all that beauty, and tell myself, “yes, you really are this close to that magnificent creature”. And then knowing this is Rakan, a tiger I saw first as a baby, that now is all grown up. I feel like he’s part of my extended family, and I’m so grateful to know him, and to be in awe.
