A Big Jag in a Small Pond

Valerio is taking up a lot more space in his pool these days! At 140 pounds, he outweighs his dad, Guapo (now at 136), and is now the biggest jaguar at the San Diego Zoo. And he’s still growing! Jaguars continue to develop until they’re about 3 years old. At his rate of growth, I’m predicting he’s going to be a giant among jaguars! He’s already extraordinary in my book!
