Ayanna the Cheetah

The youngest cheetah at the San Diego Zoo is now one year old, and she is more beautiful with every day! Her name, Ayanna, means “beautiful flower” and it fits her well. She always seems fresh and lively, full of the playful energy you would expect in a growing cub. She and her puppy companion, Honey the yellow lab, can be seen at Backstage Pass, and sometimes in the Animal Ambassador Area where I caught these shots.
